Celebrating 25 Years of Incorporation
St. Nicholas Ministries, Inc., with our principal office located in Malden, Massachusetts, has been incorporated within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Religious (Chapter 180) entity since November 24, 1998. In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts we are tax exempt with our most recent certificate (Form ST-2) set to expire August 14, 2027.
According to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), “Churches, integrated auxiliaries, or conventions or associations of churches that meet the qualifications for exemption are automatically considered tax exempt under IRC Section 501 (c) (3) and may choose not to apply for formal recognition of such status.”
As a small church, with limited budget, and given that we are recognized as tax exempt by the Commonwealth, and meet the standard of the IRS quoted above, we opted not to pay the additional fees associated with filing for a certificate of “formal recognition” by the IRS.
Nevertheless we have been assured that any donations to St. Nicholas Ministries, Inc. are tax deductible.

A profound thank you to our members, friends, and associates--past and present--as we mark twenty-five years as an incorporated church (Chapter 160) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Thank you for allowing us to minister to your needs and for your gift of fellowship through these many years. While our celebration is being kept simple, our work nevertheless continues and we are still here if you need us. While our Facebook group will most likely be closed down--our current members simply prefer not to be "on Facebook"--we will maintain this website and as well as our email account. As our next chapter begins, please continue to support us with your prayers. God has always surprised us with our next steps and we are now waiting again to be surprised by God's grace and call.
